Polecats Add Experience to Coaching Staff

The TAFE NSW Polecats are pleased to announce Damien Riddle as 2nd Grade coach for 2022.

Joining Riddle will be Keith Weston in a dual assistant role with both 1st Grade and 2nd Grade as he transitions from playing to coaching.

Damien comes to the club with a wealth of knowledge and experience both as a player and coach. Riddle has plenty of senior club coaching experience with the Quakers Hill Destroyers.

“I look forward to working with Dingo. He fits into what we are trying to bring to the club. From all reports he is a clubman and that’s what we want at the Polecats, a strong sense of community and culture” said Dan Jackson.

Keith Weston stays at the club after returning in 2020.

Westo has had a long decorated playing career especially in the NSW Tertiary League. The former Polecat, Lewisham and UTS Tiger now makes his transition from playing to coaching.

“Westo has been around footy a long time – he knows what it takes to win but more importantly he knows what good club culture and team camaraderie looks like.” Dan Jackson.

“The committee set up a coaching panel to cast a wider net to find the perfect candidates and we believe both Damien and Keith are the perfect fit for our club moving forward. We look forward to having them on board for the journey in 2022” President Ben Carter.
